Ferries to the Elba Island

Elba Island can be reached by embarking at Piombino Marittima, where four shipping companies (Toremar, Blu Navy, Moby Lines, and Corsica Ferries) have comfortable ferries that run several times a day. In just one hour's sailing time, they cover the approximately 10 kilometres separating the island from the mainland, reaching the ports of Portoferraio (the main one), Cavo, and Rio Marina.

Alternatively, there is a fast hydrofoil connection, for passenger transport only, which reaches Portoferraio in just 35 minutes.

Please note that the nearest port to our campsite is Portoferraio (8 km.) and has many more races, Rio Marina is 15 km away and Cavo 23.

The campsite does not directly book ferries, but you can compare the prices of the various companies and buy your ticket directly through our online booking system without paying booking fees.
